Welcome to My Creative Portfolio
Hi! I’m Yazmin Allen, a graduate filmmaker with hands‑on experience in directing, cinematography, script supervision, and on‑set production roles. I have a deep passion for storytelling and a love for bringing characters, emotions, and ideas to life through film.
Here, you’ll find a collection of my projects, the lessons I’ve learned along the way, and the creative journey that continues to shape me. Let’s explore the art of storytelling together.
My Journey in Film and Storytelling
Welcome to my little corner of the filmmaking world. My passion for storytelling began at a young age and grew stronger through my A‑Level studies in Film, Photography, and Business. That path led me to Central Film School, where I earned my 1st Class BA (Hons) in Practical Filmmaking — an experience that taught me resilience, collaboration, and the craft behind every frame.
Throughout my studies and early professional roles, I’ve embraced the challenges and joys of filmmaking: guiding actors to honest performances, shaping stories visually, solving problems on set, and adapting quickly under pressure. Every project, big or small, has taught me something new.
Now, I’m excited to connect with fellow creatives, join new sets, and grow as a filmmaker one story at a time.
